Mobile Mojaveland is here!
We've known for a while that Mojaveland needs to come off our Adobe Road property and into the community.
We now have two mobile holes:
1. Our original portable hole can be decorated to suit multiple themes, including as "Cathead," "Books," and "Concrete Jackrabbits." Only one person has gotten a hole-in-one so far on this hole, and a few have managed 2, but the par is 3.
2. Our "Mobile D.I.Y." hole allows for engineering, using blocks and found objects. Super creative!
A third mobile hole, "Mojaveland Corn Maze," currently under construction, will be exhibited at the Mexicali Biennial in Calexico at the Steppling Art Gallery, in Sept. 2023. We are hoping it will eventually cross the border to be shown and played in Mexicali.
Thanks to our sponsor, the Military Spouses Association, we can buy supplies and pay our teaching artists so that after golfing, kids can paint or do other projects, such as golf ball sculpture and wire bending.
